Volunteer of the Month
Volunteers are some of the special angels that make what we do at the farm each day possible.

because of my
sister Laura who is a staff member. This volunteering
opportunity really
stuck out to me because of my love for horses as well as the
wonderful
company of the children. I rode for about two years learning
the English
style of riding and how to jump. Now I also get to help take
care of
Laura’s horse Ben, along with being able to get back into

I also loved this opportunity to volunteer somewhere out

We all have something to share . . . Why not do it through volunteering?
Interested in Volunteering?
Donate a few hours a week and help us out at the farm!
Volunteers are needed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Our greatest hours of need are from 3:00pm- 5:30pm
Volunteers should be 14 years of age or older.
You do not need to have horse experience, we will train you!
What are some benefits of volunteering?
You get to enjoy exercise in the fresh air.
Your spirits will be lifted as you spend time with our exceptional riders and wonderful horses!
Volunteering for Therapeutic Riding and Hippotherapy can expand your horizons.
This experience could help you with your career, can cultivate new interests or aid in making career or education choices and fulfill community service hours for school.
Volunteering can help you learn future job skills with horses/management/ or people with disabilities.

Session Notes
Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who stuck with us through the chilly months!
With the snow melting and the trails opening up to us, remember to wear sturdy, water resistant shoes or boots.

As always....
If you will not be able to make your scheduled sessions, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can find a replacement for you. We cannot run a session safely if we don't have someone to lead the horse or support the rider.
Remember to sign in and out when you are at the farm.
